Question by Anne: What is the best type of HP printer for someone that wants to print mainly photos?
My boyfriend wants a new HP printer for Christmas. Now he says he wants it MAINLY for printing out pictures( on picture paper and such). But obviously he will use it for more than just that.What is the best printer for mainly pictures? Thanks for the help.

Any that are not ALL IN ONE. ie printer scanner copiers. Don’t get the cheapest but a mid range one.
The Canon pixma series are also very good.

Why stick to only HP? There are many printers that do a good quality print on photos. I have 2 Canon MP 560 printers that I use for both photos and texting. I find the photo quality as good as going to a photo store, and the prices (on-line ) of refills are cheap, if you know where to look.
